Sorry about the mis-communication.

Threecardstomidnight.com is now on it's way to an actual site, instead of a placeholder. That's what I was trying to get across.

Whoops!

The Site is up and running for those that weren't at the Radio Broadcast when the Site's Launch was announced by James and Jen... I believe besides James, Jen was the first one to see it... She screamed it through the Chat just before the Radio Show started...

Nice Looking Site, go check it out...

Has any one done the old CTRL+A trick in the bigfinishgames.com site? There is a lot of plot text behind the banner:

Three Cards To Midnight
Home News & Updates Trailer Forum About
"There are many things you don't remember..."
Box Art

The last thing Jess Silloway can recall is meeting her boyfriend, Daniel, for dinner on the eve of her thirtieth birthday. The next morning, she'll fly to the Florida Keys to celebrate her birthday with her parents aboard her father's yacht. Everything in Jess's life is good...on track.

Except...something feels different. Maybe it's just her impending birthday - some kind of mini-midlife crisis. Or maybe it’s something else...

Jess suddenly finds herself in a room with a man she's never seen before, who tells her that something has happened...something that has caused her to block out the events of the past days or weeks since her last memory. The man is there, he says, to help Jess remember.

The man lays out a series of Tarot cards, each of which seems to trigger memories of a person or place in Jess's subconscious – some from childhood...others from the recent past...and some that are totally unfamiliar.

The man asks Jess to choose one card and focus on it – and so begins her chilling journey into the past...
Three Cards to Midnight - Coming November 2008

Behind the banner...? You shouldn't have to do any tricks to be able to read that... is it not showing up normally?

The site is beautiful. :) The gradient colors make it look very modern, and although I don't like Art Deco, it looks great the way it's used on this page.

Is it seriously called "Big Finish Games" because they are Finnish?

You used All CAPS... lol That's considered Screaming...
I wasn't implying it as a bad thing...

As for the Text behind the Banner, I can see it without having to Highlight the page... Out of curiosity I did the Highlight trick, but the same stuff that was already there was the only things that got Highlighted...

Great job James!!!

Awesome design, i think the whole film -noir reference is really getting right in the viewers face, which is great.
Maybe, to enforce the visual impact and atmosphere of the whole thing, you could consider adding some sort of Matt Heider soundtrack-bit , or some spooky soundeffect from the game.
But anyway, the site rocks!

I have to second the soundtrack idea. I know a lot of people are annoyed by background music on sites, myself included, but for a game site it would be appropriate. Besides, Matt's suspense music is too good to be silenced!

As it is, the visual is stunning, but now that sound is mentioned it does bring up this little Je ne sais quoi that might be missing. The fact that the game heavily relies on music and voice acting makes it all more apparent.

Perhaps it was intentional though? I know you've been working according to The Men and their desired specifics.
