Re: Boxed Tesla

I wouldn't expect anything before mid-June, maybe later. Now that the game is (presumably) done, they still have to have 1000+ physical copies of the game produced. This will take time.

Re: Countdown to "where's my code I want it now waaaa"

I actually have no time to play this weekend with family obligations, but tomorrow night is wide open. I want my code! ;)

Re: Tesla Effect Premiere

What happened in the second half after the screening? I had to go to bed. Anything interesting?

Re: Tesla Character Interaction Question

They haven't really changed any of the other game mechanics, so I don't see why they wouldn't have the ability to ask about everything. I think they eliminated offer from inventory because it was largely useless. The number of times it was necessary are pretty few, so 99% of the time the response wa...

Re: Overseer 4000 points

Looking behind the bars was a problem for me in both the CD and DVD version. There's nothing different about the VR environments between the two, I think there has to be another thing that causes the problem.

Re: Overseer 4000 points

You say you got 140 points for solving the implant removal puzzle, but this is impossible unless you downloaded my unofficial patch. If you DID manage to somehow do this, I'm very curious as to how. This is a bug that has existed in the game since it was released where the bonus points aren't awarde...

Re: demo question?

Spoilers ahead.

The safe code is written on the painting above the fireplace. Once you rearrange it correctly, you can see the numbers written faintly on it.

Re: Tex Murphy Special Edition?

Yes, it runs on 8.1. They're not going to shoot themselves in the foot by not making it compatible with the only operating system you can even really buy these days :)

Re: demo question?

Yes. That is the standard modern control scheme. You just have to get used to it. It's far superior to the old games. I love them, but their controls suck.

Re: New video update from Big Finish

I would also add that Tesla Effect is not alone in requiring driver updates. If you ask for tech support for any game because something isn't working at all/properly, the first thing most people would tell you to do is update your drivers. Companies can't develop games based on 5-year old drivers ju...

Re: New video update from Big Finish

Why does it matter? Downloading and installing up-to-date drivers is easy, and you should be doing it anyway...

Overseer - Unofficial Patch

Hi everyone. I have just added a new utility to the downloads section of the site that will allow you to patch Overseer in order to restore the missing 100 points from the implant removal puzzle on Gamer mode. It provides two options: Option 1 removes any time limit from the puzzle and awards a tota...

Re: Tesla Effect - Public DEMO now available on Steam!

What's your motherboard? Almost all of them these days have on board graphics. You should really try setting the game up in the Nvidia control panel. It can't hurt.

Re: Tesla Effect - Public DEMO now available on Steam!

I'm using nvidia and experiencing the same thing. It's a problem from bigfinish. There's a thread on steam about it too http://steamcommunity.com/app/261510/discussions/0/558752450493809498/ Have you tried to make sure the game is set to use your Nvidia card and is not instead using the on board gr...

Re: Tesla Effect - Public DEMO now available on Steam!

There seems to be a trend with this "green screen": Intel integrated graphics cards. I suspect they are not very compatible with Tesla Effect.
