I died and they weep'd
my soul of bones made ethereal

Re: Some sort of a review (because I can!)

There was no centralized game design person for this project. Aaron wrote the story but was, as far as I know, not really all that involved in the game design. Instead, the job floated out and landed on several people. I'm not disrespecting the efforts of anyone (nor am I attempting to kiss any ass)...

Re: Who are you, Tex? (Spoiler: ALL games)

I understand where you're coming from, Frank. In fact, I grok.

Re: UPDATE ON NOVELS

The first dedication is a flowing bit of prose, with his full name signed with a flourish. Then in the last signature, after thirty-two hours of muscle-cramped, caffeine-fuelled daze; after finishing off three bottles of scotch, praying to the mud god of Papa New Guinea and firing a flare gun up his...

Re: Looking For Guidance: What Am I Missing Here? (spoilers)

There is a dialogue option that occurs at The Retreat (the big scene where Ariel and Taylor may or may not meet each other) which is called "Stay True To Your Girl". This refers to Taylor, which, misleadingly, made me fall off the Chelsee path on my first playthrough. Because I thought Che...

Re: Bauers Rescue scene: What was Tex's plan there?

Re: Bauers Rescue scene: What was Tex's plan there?

But he wasn't responsible for the boat leaking in the first place. The game left a lot on the cutting room floor, but that wasn't Aaron's fault. He wrote the story, then the story was turned into a game, then that game was edited together in the finished product. So you've got a leaky boat, but the ...

Oh. I thought you referred to the guilty one. The one what committed the editing.

Re: Bauers Rescue scene: What was Tex's plan there?

I was trying to be polite, Sam. But since you've breached the politeness barrier... There are three major issues I have with the story. There's several more plot holes than just three, but some of them can be casually hand-waved and I don't rightly care. But three big, gaping maws of plot deviation ...

Re: I am interviewing some cast and crew of Tesla Effect!

Since it's primarily an interview with actors and the director, here's one for all of them. Although I suspect we know what Adrian's answer would be.

Would you work on a computer game again?

Re: Bauers Rescue scene: What was Tex's plan there?

You haven't..? Actually, Hooters was probably one of the few chain restaurants I did NOT see during my trip to the States. And, sadly, we don't have those over here. And no, I probably would not have stampeded through it, had I seen one. One is a gentleman, after all. Silvermitt - about the owls. It...
