Best scene in Tex Murphy Series ...
Ok guys,
i would like to ask you the following simple question.
Which is by your personal view the best scene you have seen in the Tex Murphy series?
For me it was the scene with Tex Murphy and Sonny in Overseer. When Sonny dies of course! It really hit me as how powerful both of them acted and i had to watch this over and over.

Both of these scenes + the ending (when Gideon talks to tex and then shots himself ) are definitely the 3 best scenes in Overseer
For me the best scene ever was the ending scene of UAKM : tex running, moon child exploding, the music and the final words of James Earl Jones(from "red death" by edgar alan poe) :
"He had come like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revellers, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And Darkness and Decay and Death held illimitable dominion over all."

I agree with the above mentioned ones, along with:
The Black Arrow Killer fight scene (Pandora)
The dancing Lucy Luv scene (Pandora)
The Death of Malloy scene (Pandora)
Voices from the past scene (Tha Pandora device) (Pandora)
The Pandora Ending (mission/lombard st)
The Tex vs. Slade scene at the clocktower (Overseer)
How Tex and Chelsee met flashback (Overseer)
Tex looses his gun (UAKM)
Probably a few more in there.

The one that sticks the best in my mind is
Tex losing his gun out of the window and a kid picking it up and he askign if he can get it back.
But i like the ones u all talked about also hahah.

Well, the ending for Martian Memorandum was good, and already showed Tex's attitude well. The Casino was a hoot too, especially breaking into the vault.

Good thread, KA! This is fun!
Well, all of the ones mentioned are great but the Sonny dies scene was the most memorable. Next would be Gideon's demise and the fatal gunshot. The Bosworth Clark Russian Roulette scene was pretty good as well.
In Pandora, the BAK fight, Tex;s conversation with Lucia Pernell, the very HOT scene between Tex and Regan, Chelsee and Tex on the desk (fanning myself), and the final scene in the spaceship. Oh, lest we forget, the entire conversational path with Jackson Cross. Whew!
I UAKM there were a few worth mentioning. The Colonel with the knife in his chest, the tremendous conversation path between Tex and Ching, Tex and Eva on the moon child after her resurrection ("I've got good news and I've got some bad news"), and can we give honorable mention to Tex, the Colonel and Eva in Louie's followed immediately by Tex and DL dancing when Sylvia walks in?

"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
Yeah, the scene with the Colonel with a knife in his chest was great. What was his first line? "I must have passed out."? I love the attitude he has in that scene which seems to say "Oh look, there's a knife sticking out of me. Wonder how that got there?"

My favorite scenes would be from Pandora, my favorite of the two Tex games I played:
1. Tex's first meeting with Malloy
2. The unveiling of Pandora's Box
3. The discovery of the spaceship
As for Overseer there were some things that held a lot of the scenes back. Here are my reasons why I didn't feel the same way on Overseer.
1. I remember the fight scene between Tex and the hitman to be very poorly arranged and slapped together. It lacked the continuity I had come to expect.
2. One of the actors with a large part was Clint Howard, and he was terrible. He looked like a mutilated Richard Simmons.
3. Maybe I should play through the game again, as I barely remember it. The only pitfall in this is getting it to work.

Seeing from posts above and from my own opinion, all the movies in Pandora and UAKM are worthy of remembrance. TM: O also has some that are exceptional, i.e. Sonny's death, yet all of UAKM and TPD are great. I remember making new games in UAKM just to throw my gun out, try to remove the bum's head out of the cooler, see the Chameleon die, I would click on the photo of Sylvia again and again. I was more than happy to have the "easy" saved games so that I would blow the Moon Child again and again and see the "roman fireworks on a 4th of July".
I'm already getting itchy, and it won't stop until I play those again.

For laugh out loud funny.... my favorite scene hands down is watching Tex play with the basketball in UAKM. Just thinking about it cracks me up.
For heartwrenching... Chelsea and Tex's confrontation at the Flamingo. Yowch!
And un..hem.... the Tex and Regan scene, um wow. I think I need a few minutes alone after watching that one.
