Alex, everyone is on your side. ALL of us would like a FMV Tex game. But, we also need to face harsh realities. A FMV game is NOT in Tex's future. Please refer to my AC chat post where he makes the implication that we might not even get another Tex game, let alone a game that will cost many millions of dollars to produce.
We just may have to settle for anything, and I, for one, am ready to do just that.

"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
All we can do is hoping that there will be good news in the future. But it's so confusing with us not knowing with wich projects Aaron and Chris are doing at the time. We are in the shadows calling for that one voice. I hope the chat would be giving us some clear and good answers and hope that there will be another game.
It is so frustrating at some time after so many years our beloved TEX aint getting what he deserves. I have seen many posts that the genre is dead. Why cant there be a company who would take the risk and bring this game out. Maybe it would be an impact and the Tex-fans will grow. I hope for the best.
ps. hope that my english is understandable

Oh my gosh! Sorry, you are a classic! I like you Alex... you are sharp, to the point and above all: a fighter.
Unfortunately, I do not think AC could afford to make a FMV game. Even if he was able to find enough money to do so, it would be foolish to work so hard to secure that kind of money and risk it on making a FMV game where the outcome will almost certainly result in a loss of money.
When Microsoft bought out Access software, AC and the rest of the gang were employed under Microsoft, and now they are employed under another company, so they are not in the current position secure their own funding for a full blown game.
Where did the money from the MS buyout go? Who knows... but I am almost certain that it was covering a few debts and losses incurred from the production of Overseer and maybe even Pandora (Pandora costing $4 million and Oversser another rediculous amount)... and I can guarentee the games did not return that kind of money... so I am pretty sure there was a loss there, even with the Links series (which MS was really after). AC knows this, and I don't think he would want to risk anymore money on a FMV game... not yet anyway.
