RIP Tex Murphy
Just for the fun of it, How were the sales for Conspiracies? Especially here in the USA?
Furthermore, if Tex is Dead, our community is not. I echo the thoughts of Cub and others who will continue to hang around hear till we're all dead. Then, and only then, will Tex truly be dead.

No idea Jim but quite surprisingly it got some rave reviews. I honestly don't believe it deserves them but I guess it's good for the genre.Jim the old guy wrote:Just for the fun of it, How were the sales for Conspiracies? Especially here in the USA?

I have to agree with Joel, that Conspiracies was a pretty bad game in many aspects - not only the silly actors and voices.
I had high hopes of a Tex-a-Like game and even ordered one overseas from the USA (since here in Europe you could only order it from the developers web page, which - strangely enough - was even more expensive.), but was severly disappointed. I defenitely won't play the second game.

I know you are joking, but .... come on !! think about those sad years when accesing to internet was imposible, or restricted to a few guys. You had fun anyway. Inst it ?Fred Buer wrote:Dead or without internet access... Ain't that basically the same thing?

well, not REAL fun, but a bit of it
Well yeah, sort of ... but in a different way. Now that I've got xbox live love, I don't think I could ever live without it. It's like this community, only everybody here is nicer, and doesn't call you a b*tch when they frag you. God I love it.
The only thing that could get me off of xbox live long enough to take in the rest of the world is this community, and food. And work. And a new tex game or book. Or movie. Or trading card. You get the idea.

I'm not fat ... I'm festively plump.
I was kind of relying on the fact that everybody would immediately see the joke, and similarly also see my views on how the internet affects us, simultaneously.
