There were actually some whispers floating around about a Tex Murphy movie years back. Apparently some people were interested in making one and Aaron Conners mentioned it etc., but I guess they may of been too small of a studio or something to gather together the resources (and make a profit so as to not go into debt). I'm sure there's probably some threads hanging around on the old ezboard forum (the search fucntion there is so fussy though) or possibly some on this new forum.
Although a 'professional' release might be out of the question though, there does seem to be quite a few Film Noir fans who are also Tex Murphy fans and have gone on to study movie-making etc. so a collaborative fan one would be the best bet. As with all fan-run non-profit projects though getting things together would be most of the work.
