Hey our own little jukebox.

Awesome!!!!!
Any chance getting the radio theatre set up like that?
Nice addition James!

You rock!!
I imagine something similar can be arranged for Radio Theater. :) Glad you like the new WTXM!

P.S. I've got a bunch more music to add to the list. It's all uploading as we speak! ;)
Awesome work mate! Great list you have there (could listen for hours!).

One thing I noticed though (it may just be me, so if anyone else is able to confirm) ...but the sound comes through very distorted on all tracks. Any ideas why that is?

Hey I love the idea of the tunes, but why does it sound so bad? I don't know if any has the same problem or not but everything sounds extremely fuzzy. Almost like it's actually playing out of that little, past its prime radio. Is it because of the compression? Lemme know if anyone else is experiencing that.
Oh I hear it now. It is a bit fuzzy. But in retrospect it sounds just like it did in the game when I had it. The sound was fuzzy like that in the game for me.
I'm not fat ... I'm festively plump.
Great work, thanks!! Could you perhaps and a "playlist" to it, to be able to choose the order of play ?

BTW, the sound is more fuzzy than it was in the game - check the "P.I Theme - Matt Heider"..

Exactly... it's distortion.

Which means it shant be too hard to fix, right James?

Yeah, I boosted the volume on the tracks (they were all waaay too quiet before) and didn't get a chance to listen to them all before I uploaded them. Some are better than others, it seems. I will lower the gain and see if that helps. Part of the problem is that I think I may be working with source files that aren't of the best quality in the first place, I don't know... I'm not the world's best audio whiz. :)

For the time being, I want to concentrate on getting other parts of the site done, so the fuzziness may remain for a little bit, but I'll get to it as soon as I can!

Truth be told, I didn't create the player application, so it would be a major undertaking for me to try and alter it in that way. You can click on individual tracks to play them, does that help? :)
I think the distortion trouble may be due to the fact that there is a lot of bass in the original files. Before boosting the volume, try using some kind of EQ process on the files to roll off the lows (say below 200 Hz or so) and then normalizing the file instead of doing a simple volume boost.
If this doesn't do the trick, then it may be time to do some serious remastering (some multiband compression might be in order). And, by sheer coincidence, I happen to have some audio tools for just that sort of thing, so PM me if you want some help with that.

You want me to do this project? Well, here's the way it works:
Cheap, good, fast. Pick any two.

sounds great, some of the tracks would make great ring tones,
Blasphemy :P

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
The distortion isnt even bothering me. I'm really enjoying this.

I've lowered the gain/volume on all tracks now...sounds a bit better than before, while still remaining audible. Not perfect, but a good deal less distort-ey, I think. :)
i didnt even see the silly box untill i saw the topic about it.

In any case they do sound alot more clear now james and keep up the work this is grand.
Live is too short to waste it make sure its with the one u love !
