I can agree with most of you guys. I didn't think the Sylvia character really came across the way it was meant to in Overseer. I think it could have been a lot more dynamic and led to a lot more Tex story potential (which could be brought out in the sequel that never was for obvious reasons) since her character had so much mystery behind it, even following her final scenes in the game. But, without a doubt, she still was most likely a great pick for the time because she was a low-class actress with several high-class (or at least high-profile) connections.
As for the person behind the character, I don't like to see things like this happen, but 9 times out of 10 you bring everything on yourself that happens to you. Sometimes its out of simply not protecting yourself as much as you should, from trusting others too much. And other times, like this, its simply because you neglect your safety simply for a fun time. But the moral of the message is that no matter how well she did her job in the past, that behind that character is a person; a person who now is in a lot of trouble. More often a Hollywood life is a troubled life. And as I said only a moment ago, more often than not you will be the one who stages your own defeat.
Best wishes to Rebecca Broussard in her court case. May she learn from this and become a better person.

Gotta agree. She was the single biggest reason why I like UAKM and Pandora better than Overseer. If the Broussard had been as young as the character she played, it probably would have come off a lot better.

Wasn't that Aaron Conners' wife or something? Or am I thinking of someone else?
