James Rigney, better known as Robert Jordan

has passed away. Damn. I was waiting til the series ended before jumping in. (I am painfully waiting for the next in the Song of Ice and Fire series)
He will be sorely missed.
Maybe it's just me, Jen, but "he will be sorely missed" is a bit incongruous with your current avatar. :wink:

Just a gentle joke. I hope I don't offend. But I have to admit I miss your pleasant visage. Might I request that you bring it back? Perhaps a more recent photo? I think that maybe I speak for most of us here (do I dare?!?).

I'm not familiar with Mr. Rigney but I share your pain and loss.

And I agree with Gary - your photo avatar is MUCH more pleasing to view although the other was rather cool.
