Musical Help...

I feel silly asking this question here, but I've run out of options...

I'm creating this short piece and I have this short segment of music I'd like to use in it...the problem is that it was missing any form of identification when I got it, and I have no idea who the artist is or what the song title is. I have to credit any music I use in the piece, so it's essential that I find out what song this is and who the artist is.

I've tried to use song identifiers on it, but to no avail.

Please have a listen and if anyone recognizes it and knows who/what it is, pleeaase tell me. Thanks Guys!

That clip takes me back to my disco days. That would be the late 70's. Sorry, though, it doesn't sound familiar.

Well there are *some* things I don't know about.

It definitely sounds like disco, but it also sounds a lot like something that was made on the fly with a GrooveBox. If so, it may not have a title.

Here's a groovebox program you can download and play around with. Maybe you can make own similar tune. Unfortunately, this particular GrooveBox doesn't seem to quite have a Disco beat.

This is our messageboard at its best!

(although it might be a little better if we actually answered rockefeller's question)

To narrow your search down a bit, I would say that sounds a lot like Basement Jaxx.
