What's your rig?

Well, it's well known that us old school gamers often have more than one system, one for our modern programmers and one for our old games. Some aren't so fortunate as to have either, i.e. something that won't play old games and didn't doesn't do so hot on the new ones :p. I'm building a new system next week, when my parts arrive, and I'll finally be relieved of having to use this hunk-of-junk my school forced me to buy.

My current rig:
(laptop)
1.6ghz p4
Ati Mobility M7 Radeon 7500
512 MB of Ram
40gb hd
etc...

It's nothing spectacular, but who knows, maybe in 10 years I'll be dying to find one of these to play one of the classics of today, if there are any...

My new rig is also a laptop, and I'm looking forward to building it.

Welp, just trying to stir up new topics for conversation around here!

Enjoy,
~Keck
Right now I'm using the following:

AMD Athlon XP 1700+
768MB RAM
300GB HDD
NVIDIA GeForce2 Ti Graphic Card
Windows XP

I've been using this hardware for about 3.5 years now, but during the next couple of weeks I'll upgrade/build myself a new computer, so I guess I'll be making a new post in this thread very soon :D
Yeah, I'll update this when all my parts come and it's all working.

~Keck
At the moment:

Desktop:
AMD Athlon XP 3000+
1.5GB RAM
1000GB (1TB) Total HDD space
Nvidia GeForce Fx-5950 Ultra 256mb
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro 7.1
Windows XP Pro

Laptop:
Pantirum 4 3.6ghz with Hyper Threading
1GB RAM
80GB HDD
ATI Radeon Mobility X600
Harman Kardon Sound
Windows XP Pro

Both have been very good to me (so far)... however, I am in need of a desktop upgrade soon so that I may have a designated high-end workstation, rtaher than using my desktop PC for almost everything.
