I finally found it!

Those of you who know me know that I've been searching (on and off) for a functional copy of Win 3.1 to use on a computer specifically built for Tex games (and the old LEC adventures). I have finally found one!

Now, for the construction of the actual tower. Let the games begin.
Well done ol'Boy! Although I could have given you a copy of 98... or 95 (on floppy!) if you wanted... they both run Tex games well also... but nothing beats 3.1 for down home Dos compatability.

Sounds like a neat project though... I remember starting to make a Tex PC tower from brand new parts... although a 2400+ was the slowers processor I could find! Oh well, maybe again soon.

I feel like the worst is yet to come in terms of searching out parts. I want to build a machine that would have been state of the art in 1994 or 1996. Something that can run both UAKM and TPD, as well as the LEC games in perfect native state. At the very least, it will be an interesting project.
