It doesn't sound stupid per say, just kind of on the ill mannered side of things or a little rude, but I only feel that way because of the Answer to your question... After reading you'll understand why I feel that way... But you wouldn't have asked if you knew, so I take no offense...

I've heard a lot of things in the pronunciation, and I'm sure no one on this Message Board is Pronouncing "Bafitis" correctly either, though there might actually be one or two that get it right... But I've never heard it referred to as a Disease... A Simple Google Search would have answered your question on what "Bafitis" is...

I don't believe in Alias' or Screen Names... Bafitis happens to be my Last Name... It is Greek if anyone is wondering or cares... And according to relatives in Greece {I haven't visited yet myself, but do plan to}, they say that the name can be traced as far back as the 7th Century maybe even farther...



Anyway, no worries dude... I was always taught growing up that the only Stupid Question is the Question NOT Asked... Though you might have kept the Disease part to yourself, but otherwise how do you learn if you do not ask...
