Using JoyToKey, you can program the buttons on your joypad to do anything you ask them to by assigning buttons. You can even tell them to do several actions at once (like Ctrl+Alt+Del). Check it out:

It works so well, that it makes me sort of wonder what Tex would've been like on a console. Heck, I played all the way through Discworld II on Playstation 1, and that game could only use the d-pad, not the analog sticks!
