With such attention from one of the games' most important creators, I wonder why this isn't called the Official Tex Murphy Message Board! :?
It certainly might as well be! If Tex Murphy comes back out from the Noir street lamplight shadows and he gets a new official website, this place really should at least be in a Links section on there :wink:
Sometimes it's just like that though, I run an "unofficial" website for an obscure animated series that has more content than the official website. But then the official websites are made simply for promotion and basic information (usually). But fansites are made through fans dedication so they can grow a lot more.

Aaron, thanks for posting. It's great to hear from you.

Personally I've felt a little disillusioned over the future of Tex since your last post, so it's great to hear that life and other things are getting on. Please let us know more about your present project when you can. I'll be the first in line in my local shop to buy a copy and make sure that they put in on display somewhere prominent!

As for the negativity - I agree, and I apologise to anyone if I've said or done anything to upset them. I guess there's a lot of bad stuff happening in the world out there and this needs to be a forum of people who feel they can always stand together on issues.

Maybe too much negativity has built up over the last few months so let's hope that there's lots of good news around the next corner.

Its easy to, like u say, loose yourself in arguing at the wrong time or wrong reason and forget why we all are here go pay homage to a great game with tex murphy.

yeah, but I remember seeing AMacs posts in the early early 2000's, when I was still just watching the forums and not posting. Then, in about late 2002 I started to post, somewhat.

Also, I'm sorry I've not been around as much as I'd like to. Life is what it is and it sometimes takes it's time to sort things out. But I'll have the ability to check in from time to time now. I've never forgotten you guys though.

That reminds me of my brother playing SimCity 2000 years ago. He cheated to gain money, then built the city into a simulacrum of a banana republic with 'Pepe's poppy field' in one corner, which he explained was the source of all the extra income.

the great thing about when i come see these boards is the community that it has and ive seen a few arguments on reading these boards over last few years but its good to see people still active on the boards, i met alot of communitys through different games and this one is a good one.
i hope we can find out more about AC new project.
oh yeah i said it in the other post, but well done on getting the new unofficial tex site back up , its great.
