I am glad others find the Olympics enjoyable but for me I just lost interest after the 1984 games.
Part of the reason why is how I see certain sports take advantage of little kids. I mean you see a little girl train her whole life for that one sports event, and if she is lucky she beats out hundreds if not thousands of other girls to get there. But to get there she has to cause physical damage to her body that will effect the way she will develop and change her for life. Perhaps its not always that bad but I just dont see why folks nearly kill themselves for one day of life. Its one thing if everyone was an adult but lots of these events have kids.
