Google Chrome

Has anyone else tried it. It seems pretty nice. I feel like i have a lot more screen space for some reason.

Have been playing around with it at work today, and so far it's pretty sweeeet. Enough so that I've set is as my default browser for the time being. Haven't found anything I don't like about it yet!
No Known bugs as of yet in it??? I heard about it just the other day, my wife really likes Microsoft's Explorer, so I told her about Chrome... We're gonna try it... I'm a FireFox user myself... I loved Netscape and then they just up and abandoned it like they did... Really pissed me off, but FireFox is practically the same...

I haven't seen or tried it, but I wonder if it is Mozilla-based, like FireFox. I wonder because, I seem to recall that "chrome" is one of the programming modules that are used when programming extensions and add-ons for FireFox.
I'm using it at the moment. I like it. Very streamlined. Could use a few more options like being able to move the tabs from the top to the bottom, but still...

Only problem I've run into so far is that I can't access my university email account with it. I'm sure problems like that will be worked out in time.
It's malware. It's a giant data miner. Collecting all your information and letting Google sell it to companies that want to know your preferences.

If my browsers is faster, I could care less. Seriously, I'm going to see adds for things on pages anyways, they might as well be things I like!

Bingo.

I've tried Chrome... it's decent. But I just transitioned to FF from IE, and don't really want/need to change at the moment. Perhaps when it is more polished.

I tried downloading it and installing it, and it gave him a misc. error. I was sad.

Speaking of alternative web browsers...My university Computer Science team just informed us that Opera has gone free (without the Ad banner).

For those that don't know... Opera used to be a "pay-for" browser that was truly the innovator among browsing features. For instance Opera was the first browser to support tabs within a single window.

Just an FYI for those out there who want something a little different.
I just wish I had a nickel for every brilliant idea I ever had...wait...oh, darn...I do.
I've been using Opera for years now. I love it.

I just got Firefox 3, so I'm happy with that for now.

Make sure it is 3.0.1 to know you have the latest edition...

With the Browser open go up to the top and click on "Help"... Then go down to the "About Mozilla Firefox" option... It will open a little window and it will tell you what version you are running...

Like, duh, dude. :P That's why I said "3"-- to refer to the browser itself and not the particular version.
I am interested in what IE8 has to offer. Might DL the Beta and check it out.
