LOL i dreamt my name was Tex Murphy

This is sorta pointless thread. :D

Yea i dreamt that everything was the same expect my name. Probably the biggest fan of TX in the world changed his name to Tex Murphy. Also my next dream was (yes i had 2 dreams) about teachers cutting out student's hearts but let's leave that... :P

Did you ever had a dream like this? Or just post any kind of interesting dream.
I had a dream last night that Jay Leno was trying to kill my hedghog.

When I was a young lad growing up in the suburbs of owensboro, KY, I used to have 2 seperate recurring dreams that were in no way linkable.

Dream Number One:

I'm sitting in a pick up truck with some girl sitting in the passenger seat and about 4 people sitting in the bed. None of the people in the dream were people I recognized from my real life. Anyhoo...apparently, the truck is on top of a ledge overlooking a very shallow running creek. As I'm sitting in the truck, it slips out of gear and starts rolling backwards...everyone in the bed of the truck starts freaking out because it's getting closer and closer to the edge of the cliff...so they all hop out and run away. The girl in the seat yells at me to hit the brakes and I do. The truck stops just before the edge...we kinda collect ourselves and the girl steps out...as she does, the truck starts rolling again...I am strapped into the seat and cant get the seatbelt to undo....the truck will not go back into park for nothing and all of a sudden the brakes go out...I continue to roll backwards tumbling over the cliff. I watch the top of the cliff get smaller and smaller as the people in my dream look over the side and watch me fall to my death...the truck crashes extremely hard into the middle of the creek and I am thrown out into the water with my head landing on it's left side. What's weird about it is, I don't wake up from the dream...ever...I've had this dream probably hundreds of times, but I never wake up from it before I fall or directly after I land. Instead, I lay there on my left side, in a deathly stare looking at the water running past my head and the sandy bank next to it. After what seems like hours, I finally wake up from my dream.

Dream Number Two:

I'm walking through the middle of a riot on Carter Road in Owensboro, KY right in front of a strip area....a man pulls out a gun and starts opening fire onto the crowd...I dive to the ground to avoid the bullets, but the bullets bounce of the ground and hit me in the stomach. I walk away wounded to find my neighbor (at the time) sitting at a folding table, playing solitaire, and eating mutton. We talk for a minute and then the dream ends....but later on in my life, I would have the dream, but it would start adding more to it...I eventually become a police chief and track down the people who shot me.

Keep in mind, I had these two dreams hundreds of times from the time I was 8 till I was like 14. Any thoughts?

Here is one of my repeating dreams

Me and my dad were in the middle of field. I wanted to fly. So i jumped in the air and just didn't stop. Beacouse i didn't know how to stop i just kept on going. And i was already very high up and then my father reached and garbed me (his hand was elastic, like the guy from fantastic 4) me and pulled me down.

Weird, huh?
Sounds a bit like Willy Wonka in the bubble chamber (the Gene Wilder version).

The other night I dreamed I was trying to suck an ink cartridge from a pen because it got stuck. It sucked it right into my throat.

Then I woke up coughing with a sore throat. Very spooky.

I had a dream a few nights back that I owned a flying motorcycle in a futuristic city, and lives atop a really really tall building and was running late to make a dinner with my girlfriend on top of another big big restaurant. But on my way I got distracted and for some reason I needed to head to the airport in order to pick somebody up... and then a whole other story unfolded from there.

Dreams are odd... can't say I've had many Tex Murphy dreams though... however I have made an effort to salvage my Tex Collection and protect it from potential apocalyptic disaster in dream scenarios before.
