Jack Orlando
I recall hearing the name, but I never ended up playing it...
Is there any news on that one game that had Tex's picture on the guys desk??? I can't remember the name of the game... I don't think it had been released yet when it was talked about here on the boards... I think the game started with an "A", but I may be way off...

That's one of those adventure games you have to save often in order to beat. It's a good story with some interesting twists, but death awaits around every corner. I remember dying at least twice just in my first 5 minutes of playing it when I got it a few years ago off eBay.
After that sad & miserable experience, and usually needing a walkthrough to finish a game anyway, I found a walkthrough online & enjoyed the twists & turns. But it was hell without one. Every conversation's like talking with Jackson Cross, and every action like Tex's encounters with Big Jim Slade: there's a right way, & everything else is dead wrong. Literally. Hence the need for the walkthrough. But despite those drawbacks, it's a good game.

Jack Orlando is by far NOT the worst adventure game ever made (I'd reserve that for Cameron Files 2), it's just really frustrating that one wrong move without any warning can frequently leave you dead.
I believe its style is called cel-shaded animation, very realistic but drawn like a cartoon. And it looks amazing!
