This is great news indeed!!!
I've never purchased anything off Steam though, from my experience with HL2, I can't say i'm a big supporter of it. In terms of buying games digitally, does it work like GOG in terms of being able to transfer the game to other computers or can you only download to the PC you intend to play the game on?
Does this also mean we have to unlock the damn thing?

Steam is an application by Valve (the people who made Half-Life, Half-Life 2 etc) that lets you buy games online, and find other people to play with on the Steam network. Free to download, too.
As far as I know, the biggest online portal in the world for purchasing your games digitally.

Things have changed a lot since Half Life 2's release Joel. I hardly like to buy any game at all now that doesn't come from steam. You can download your games at any time and on as many computers as you like. As long as you keep your login info safe you are set. The only downside for some people is that you have to have the steam app running while you play the game.Joel wrote:This is great news indeed!!!
