Okay, I know there is a thread for this, but I'm going to start another due to it being a large one. I was actually thinking long and hard about the characters and who would play who on the road, and I came up with an all star cast. Check it out. This would be for a Pandora Directive movie. Some of these options you might not think would work, but consider the ability of all mentioned.
Tex Murphy = Jeff Bridges
Chelsea Bando = Helen Hunt
Nilo = Ron Jeremey!!!
Clint = Rob Schnieder
Louie = Adam Sandler
Gorden Fitzpatrick = Samuel L. Jackson
Thomas Malloy = Patrick Stewart
Emily Sue Patterson = Alicia Silverstone
Gus Leech = The guy who played Hellboy
Jackson Cross = Alan Rickman (Playing the part in his own delightfully evil way)
Mac Malden - Tommy Lee Jones
Regan Madsen - Cameron Diaz
Rook - Rob Schnider (dual roles!)
Archie - Johnny Depp
Of course I'm missing a few, but that's my all star cast list. What do you think? Some of these characters wouldn't look like their respective actors, but I think those actors could pull the part off excellently.

I always though Steve Buscemi would make a great Clint.
Clint Howard would be great as Nilo.
John Rhys Davies would make an awesome Louie.

Ian McKellen for Fitzpatrick.

On the idea of Rickman being Cross. All I did was think of Hans Gruber shooting that guy in the head in the first hour of die hard. That did it for me. No remorse, no worries, just business. He would be creepy good in the part of Jackson Cross.
Cub - You know, honestly, Eastwood was my second choice for Malloy.

And I agree Marsie, he would really look the part! I think his voice too might be good... especially for the sort of sarcastic way in which tex says a lot of things. I can imagine him saying:

At the end of the day though naturally the original cast we know all too well would be the best, but since its unlikely theres gonna be a movie anyway, no harm in throwing around names
