UAKM file not found problem

Are you using the original cd's, as it sounds like the disk is damaged.

I would say it's disk 4 based on where you are in the game.
You can buy the whole game from GOG for $10.00 & it's a hard disk version (no cd's needed)

We could help you out with the file from our disks but more than likely there will be other files not working on the disk also.

If you have nero you can scan the cd for errors & see what comes up.

You say it happened at day 5, did this happen at the start of the game or had you been playing it for a while before you got the error messages.

With the guide I used I run the game with dosbox and configured it so I don't need to change discs, you telling me it's disk 4 is a great help. Do you think I could or should reinstall disk 4? I only ask because I have been playing the game up to day 5 without any trouble at all and When I go to an earlier save point sometimes I can get a bit further in the game but it always stops round about the broken skull scenes.

I assume it could be disk 4 based on being the last part of the game, you could try to change the dos box config file for disk 4 & change the drive letter to your cd rom drive & use the original to see if it's the image file is corrupted. Check also the size of the file for disk 4 to see if it matches the size of the original disk.

did you manage to scan the disk for error's as this tell"s you straight away if it's the disk.
