And "Headlines", a small segment that Leno does once a week, which use to be Mondays, but looks like it is going to be converted to Tuesdays now...
.
Have a look at this. It says everything about Jay that needs saying.

And that meant what??? A raving blog by someone who doesn't like someone else...
If I cared in the least, I'm sure I could find something {within minutes} very similar that pitted Letterman as the devil's child...

They are media punching bags, articles like this are a dime a dozen on any of them...

Leno comes on after my local news and I watch about the first 10 minutes of it, nothings going to change that... Unless they replace him like they did several months ago... And apparently I wasn't alone in thinking that was a bad idea... Ratings Talk and Conan Walks... It's as simple as that...

I understand that people liked Conan, just not enough... They should never have changed things to begin with... It's a sad situation all around...

Jay's 10pm show is what was cheesing off the affiliates so much. Jay's ratings drug Conan down. The local affiliates don't give a care about who's on after them. It was Jay they were mad about, and that's how it blew up.

You are right that it's sad, though.
You said it right there, Leno's ratings drug Conan down... People Preferred to watch Leno, it's that simple... People only watched their local channel to watch Leno, and when they took him off the late spot, they started turning the TV off after his early show, so they stopped watching everything behind it... Yes the News channels got upset...

It just goes to show you how much people like Leno over their own News and over Conan... I understand people are upset, but don't hate Leno for something that isn't even his fought... The man didn't want the Early show to begin with and almost left NBC because of it... True they threw more money at him then he could shake a stick at, so from a Business stand point he would have been stupid to say no...
But he stated that he didn't think the Early show was a good idea and that there was no reason to change a line up that was killing every other station at late night ratings...

People want to hate someone and cry about this and that, then they need to do it to the Big Wigs of NBC for trying to pull stunts they had no business pulling to begin with... Leno's popularity made him a bigger piece in the game, which is why Conan was sacrificed...

Everyone ought to be thrilled for Conan, he was given 33 million dollars all because he didn't want to be pushed back an hour and resume his former position... Man, wish I could have done that when I worked for the man... "No Chief I ain't doin' that, so give me millions of dollars."... What a world we live in...

He should have just been a man and said, yeah my ratings suck I'll go back and do the show I was having success at... But no he cried about his contract and made himself look like a little girl... NBC was right to get rid of him at that point...

Contract or no Contract, his ratings at the 11:30pm spot against Letterman sucked and NBC was losing money because sponsors aren't going to pay for low ratings, people aren't going to see those commercials... For having been with the company for over 20 years Conan should have done what was right for the company... But clearly all he thinks about is himself...

Now, one week after Leno takes the spot back where is NBC??? Back in the top spot... Ratings speak for themselves and I'm sorry that the Conan Followers can't see that... You can Blame Leno for pulling down Conan's ratings, you know why, because More People like Leno... It's that simple... And local channels won't admit to it, but the only reason people watch them is because they are waiting for Leno... So they kick on the News and wait, but they aren't really paying attention until Leno comes on...
People get their news from the newspapers and from the internet, plus if local stations elsewhere are like mine, you've already heard the same news at the 6 o'clock news, it's just being repeated and shortened...

And yes I said it before, it's a Sad Situation all around that shouldn't have happen to begin with... Conan fans need someone to blame and who better than Leno, when they really need to be blaming Jeff Zucker, NBC's CEO...
Just look at all the changes that have been made since he took over 3 years ago... You've had beloved shows like ER canceled {among others}, you had the big screw around with the Leno and Conan thing... He has been screwing around with NBC like it's his own personal erector set and he wants to see how many shapes he can make it...

So Blame Zucker...

Man I didn't meant to start up another late night war. :) It doesn't matter who you watch as long as they make you laugh.

Sure it matters. Leno is a slimebucket and if you touch him you get it on you.

Slime usually oozes itself down to the bottom, kind of like Conan's Ratings...
Leno seems to float on top, so I guess that makes him a special kind of slime...
