Twitter

Any birds about? I'm not the most avid twitterer in the world, but I try to dabble. I like technologics and scientificky stuff. Me no luddite. Honest!

Feel free to listen to the sound of my mind melting - I'm @Fredrikbbuer on the Twitters.

Yeah I draw the line at Twitter. If I can't reach somebody via email, cell, or Facebook then I'm thinking they don't want to be found.

I don't understand twitter hate.

It's not so much hate as it is disgust...

"I'm walking across the street"

"I'm going into Starbucks"

"I just order a latte"

"I'm walking out of Starbucks sipping my latte"

"I'm walking up the street, sipping my latte"

"I'm drinking my latte"

"I drank my latte, I'm looking for a trash can"

"I threw the cup away, now I need a toilet"

"aaaahhhhhhh, I just peed, I feel better"

"I'm walking down the street"

"I'm going into Starbucks"

Well, I suppose you should quit following the morons who post that garbage then

Because telling people you're walking down a street sipping a wussified coffee is not mention-worthy.

There're people who use Twitter for poetry. Did you know that? People who write poems in 160 letters or less. There's art to be found there.

Not to mention a good laugh or two.

No disrespect intended, because I'm a poetry writer myself, but that is what places like www.poetry.com are for... There are plenty of Poetry sites out there, I've been to many and am a member of a few...

As for finding good laughs, I can find that anywhere, I don't need to double check some message account 80 times a day for that...
Not too mention I don't feel there is anyone worth following that closely, that I need to know what they are constantly doing throughout the day...

We'll leave it at, you have your forms of entertainment and I have mine...

I'm more of a closed off person I guess... If I don't answer my cell phone, then that means I don't want to be bothered and I will fill you in later if I feel like...

I just think there are better things to do with ones time...

I personally don't like the notion of Twitter that you've got to follow somebody else's life. You should have plenty of stuff in your own life to keep you busy.

That and how meaningful can you be at 160 characters. If I'm going to talk to my friends I want to have a real conversation with them. Short bursts aren't good enough for me.

Damn it we spent thousands of years developing language and words so we could communicate with each other better. To me Twitter seems to be a step backwards.

I dont like Twitter either. I've never used it and probably never will.
Too busy with my own life to read about someone else's.
