I was pleased to see that they have made good use of FMV in Need For Speed: Most Wanted. The game uses live actors, but the colors are changed to give the cutscenes a smooth animated look. Works really well in my opinion. Blends perfectly with the rest of the game.
I would prefer to have the game dark, dirty and sharp edged though. But given how the rest of the game looks, the FMV couldn't have looked any other way than it does.
