I imagine it has been stressful. A little while ago AT&T knocked out my firm's internet for a week for a still-unknown reason. That was a miserable week at work. I can't imagine being down for two weeks.
It's rough going without internet. Our cable got knocked out once and we had no television and no internet. Talk about living a primitive life. I was afraid we'd have to go out and hunt for our own food and build campfires.

Also, whenever my husband and I go on a cruise, I have to give up the internet for 1-2 weeks. There's internet on the ship but it's insanely expensive so we quit cold turkey. It's awful I could feel myself get the shakes as I go through internet withdrawal. :?

How did people survive before then?

I'm still looking forward to the day when I get to blow my son's mind by telling him that I used to go to the library and look things up in encyclopedias.
Or what about the notion that we used to have to get up, walk to the tv, and actually turn the channel on the TV?

I can remember when we turned on the TV and walked away cause it took 30 seconds for it to come on! Same thing with the old style radio. But, those radios back then were more powerful. One winter night I put a penny on the radio, stuck my bare butt out the window and got Chile.

It's also like telling people, Your lucky with all the channels you get to watch, we use to have 3 and we had to get up to change them and if the President was on our night was shot...

I started to make a post about my views on television here, but my ranting turned into raving, and I kinda just copied it over and turned it into a post on my blog instead.

Because, to quote George Carlin, I don't have pet peeves, I got major psychotic f***in' hatreds, okay?
