The Pandora Directive XP files and instructions?

At one time there was a post on this message board that listed a Web site that had a download section where one could download all the necessary files to get Pandora running on XP. But I can't find the post it was in. If anybody knows where I can find it I would really appreciate it. My PC crashed and I lost everything, including all of my Tex Murphy files :( .

That was my post you were looking for - I was having problems with my Website, so I just deleted it from the post until I had time to fix the problem, and it has been fixed, but I forgot to re-post it again. OK, I downloaded everything and followed the instructions. I now have the game running but the sound is choppy and I miss some of the dialogue. Is there a way to tweak this thing to get it to run smooth? Thanks. :) kait

Sorry you're having problems - Did you download and install the latest version of VDMSound and VDMS LaunchPad? - [Both can be downloaded from my Website.] What you are experiencing with the sound is precisely what happens when Pandora is run with the older versions of VDMSound. So, if you have installed the latest version, and followed the instructions, then other than that, I don't know of any tweaks that might be available. Sorry!

Thanks for your help. I did everything you said, then I did something incredibly ingenious. I rebooted my computer. That seemed to make all the difference. :D
You have my deepest appreciation for making it possible to play Pandora again. I haven't been able to play it or UAKM in a long time.
