Frequent readers, infrequent posters

Hey, my friends

I just thought I'd leave a post for those of us (myself primarily included) that are frequent readers of the postings here, but don't frequently post ourselves.

I enjoy reading the postings of you regulars (JTOG (and I'm alomost as old, I must say  ), cubase and others). I just wanted to let you know that I (and others) may be somewhat quiet, but I'm with you 100%

I check out the bb just about every day, trying to keep the hope alive. I offer a toast to the "core base" of this community.
Excellent! I feared that many of our members were not just unfrequent posters, but simply moved on after a small period of time. It's fantastic to know that everyone is still supporting Tex Murphy, even as even more time passes.

Me too! Me too! I read all the time but rarely post. I'm still supporting Tex and hoping for something in the future, no matter what. I enjoy the posts even though I'm kind of quiet about it. :D
Yeah, me too. I don't post often, but I read the forum 3-4 times a week :)
I find less and less to say but I too am reading at least once a day
This is great to hear folks...

...always good to know that the members are here with us, even if they are not regular posters... and many thanks for dropping us a line!

It's kind of you Gary (and others for that matter) to indulge us regular big-mouth posters. Even if we probably only yak on and on most of the time!

Mind you, it's not as if long absences are un-forgivable... but it is good to know people stick around.

I read everyday hoping for news of Tex's return :)
I agree with Cub and Littlekeck regarding those who don't post much but visit often. We appreciate your loyalty and some day it may pay off.

MickeyD doesn't have much to say? WOW! Mark a big X on the calendar!

Hey ho. I'm with the rest of you. I check here once or twice every day and I only post when I need to. Although, since we have had this new nice message board, I have been posting alot more often. It is nice to know that you all hang around here. Later.

Edit: You know Jim, I just changed my avatar, and this was my first post with it. The chance that they are similar is purely coincidental.

Hey, you can add me to that list as well - always checking-in to find out the skinny. Big-up to all you regulars. It looks like this community can count on more than the obvious support.

(Sometimes I do feel a bit guilty about not posting often enough, and hope it doesn't make me a bad person)
There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works.

Of course it doesn't! :D Sometimes it just happens that theres not much that you can personally say. But whenever you're tempted to join in on a thread, don't hesitate.
Either way anyones support of this game series is great, whether it be quiet or loud :)

I guess I am not as vocal as many here, but I do like to keep up to date on what's happening in the Tex community. It's like hanging out at your favourite pub and occasionally chatting up the livelier customers when you're drunk enough.
As for the read/post ratio, I suppose my philosophy should be this: "You have one mouth and two ears. Be sure to listen twice as much as you talk."

Then again, according to that math, I should have 26.6 ears...
