Found 4 FMV Gems?

So I was cleaning around the house and found 4 FMV Gems (or not).

Phantasmagoria is still in the box with the manual and everything. I played this one, and it was pretty silly but is known for being scandalous with super, over-the-top gore.

Ripper is still in the foldout sleeve and it stars Christopher Walken. This was pretty funny (bad) but I sort of appreciated the over (bad) acting and corny deliveries. Didn't finish it b/c I couldn't get into the cyber-shooting gameplay sequences.

Dark Side of the Moon still in the CD sleeves and I found a strategy guide. Never been able to get this one to run. Even on my classic (1994) Pentium. It loads up and plays but the mouse is not identified so you can't click on anything. Too bad.

And finally, The Dame Was Loaded. This one is still in the box with cardboard inlays. I've been dying to try this one, but after a lot of trouble shooting, all I get is sound and no picture. Oh well.

Anyway, I'm done with all of these games (and done trying to play the last two) and would like to pass them along to a community who appreciates the long gone world of FMV's. Maybe someone out there would like to make a game trade, if they have something lying around that they are done with. I've got a modest (current laptop) a Wii, 360, PS3, DS & PSP.

But be warned though, these games are old and very hard to get running. But I know some of you guys out there are way more tech-savvy then I am.

If trades are something you folks may be interested in, I've got a lot more current games that I'd trade too, like Jack The Ripper (PC) or the first Far Cry (PC) to name a couple.

If trading games was already discussed and frowned upon, I apologize in advance. Just thought it would be cool if we shared stuff rather then watching them collect dust.

Thanks for reading.
How about Westwood games?

Westwood the game studio?

Didn't they make the excellent Blade Runner adventure game on PC?
I can't remember if they did off the top of my head. I had that game, but I think I gave it to my brother-in-law. I wonder if he still has it. That was like 10 years ago.

If there are people out there who are really interested in trading, I can put a list together. I've got a lot of old PC games from the early nineties to today.
No, not "Blade Runner". "Command and Conquer"+"Covert operations", "Red alert"+"Counterstrike"+"Aftermath", "Tiberian sun"+"Firestorm", "Red alert 2"+"Yuri revenge", "Command and Conquer 3:Tiberium wars"+"Command and Conquer 3: Kane wrath", "Red alert 3"+"Red alert 3 Uprising", "Command and Conquer 4: Tiberium Twilight"

Dang the message order doesn't even look the same. Alexander is on fire!
Alex, all of those Command and Conquer games are available in the Command and Conquer: The First Decade collection. For 20 bucks, I think.

Too true, Alex, it doesn't contain Command and Conquer 3 an after, though those were made after the destruction of Westwood.

Mmmmmmm i really loved Ripper. The puzzles were rock hard :) Phantasmagoria was kinda rank. It was too easy and too linear. Also Blade Runner was just aweseome :)
I liked both Phantasmagoria games... I also liked A Fork In The Tale...

Come to think of it, there are few FMV games that I didn't like, out of the ones I played of course, I'm sure there are plenty that I haven't... I've always enjoyed FMV games...

Speaking about Phantasmagoria, I always wish Tex had a movie playback feature.
Me too. There are so many scenes I'd like to watch over and over again.

Like watching Tex with Eddie Ching, taking care of the Chameleon, listening to the Colonel telling us about Capricorn, that scene on Mission Street when Tex tries to grab Cheslee on his desk, or some parts of the dinner with Cheslee in Overseer. All their cut scenes were so well done and made the story so real.
