Indiana Jones and the Bastardisation of 3D

For now it just seems to be a rumour though a statement from Lucasfilm is suggestively imminent. Along with the 6 Star Wars re-releases in 3D, the Indiana Jones films are also said to receive 3D treatment. Personally, I'm not a fan of 3D as it hasn't added anything new to the experience, it comes off as more of a novelty. However, if alongside the 3D re-showings they do a limited run of 2D sessions, i'd definitely attend all ten (SW and IJ) films should there be any substance to the story above.

I haven't seen any of the new 3D films. I don't see it as a drawback though.
The only time I've really enjoyed 3-D is at places like Disney World, where the whole theater is involved... If water sprays towards you from the movie, there are little misters in the backs of all the seats so you actually feel a water spray... They also have things in the seats that will poke you in the back at the right moments and whatnot...
But all this jazz with the 3-D and new 3-D Home TVs that have come out, where you need 200 dollar glasses to watch... That's all a joke...
But it is paving the way, soon our TV will be our entire living room {or whatever room you do your TV watching}, and you'll feel like you're right in the middle of the movie or show and it will be interactive as well... And then after that will come the Holo-Decks, where you have a designated room in your house that is completely Holographic and Interactive...
We're not too far off from this stuff... Most likely won't be in our life times, but I have a feeling that my Son might enjoy Interactive TV, and I'm not talking about just a few choices, I'm talking Fully Interactive... You tell that cop to shoot that guy instead of arrest him and he kills the guy and the movie unfolds in a completely different direction, stuff like that...
