what a lot of garbage

The thing is we would never know if we are just repeating life, because aside from some of the nut-jobs out there who claim they can, no one can remember a previous life... So if there is something before we are born or after we die, we have no idea... So does that mean if there is something after we die, will we not remember having been here??? Or is being born here really the beginning???

I haven't experienced either, to my knowledge, so I can't formulate an opinion on the matter...

As for Religion... I believe in a higher power, but I don't call it anything like God or any other deity, just a higher power than that of human... I don't worship anything or pray to anything... I tried talking to a God, I didn't feel any kind of awakening or answers that others say comes with it... So I guess I'll just have to wait until the end of my days on this Earth to see for myself... If it means an eternity in a lake of fire then so be it, at least then I'll know whether or not I right or wrong...
