No Sound On My Computer Games

It looks like hackers put my computer on mute! I can get internet sound but when I play computer games or try and play QuickTime movies on the hard drive I can't get any sound. I never uninstalled any sound drivers. Does anyone know what's going on?
Open up your Sound Control Panel and see if anything is Muted... I just had to do that to my Son's computer... Somehow he had muted half of his settings while the other half were fine...
Depending on your system and how your sound is set up, you should have like 4 or 5 different sound settings when you open it up... Make sure they are all up to a decent level and make sure they aren't muted...

Weird. I just rebooted my computer and now the sound is back to normal.
Funny you should mention that, BJ. When I met Diane 42 1/2 years ago she was quiet, shy and a good submissive wife. Now, after going through menopause (that's a two way street, by the way), she's is infinitely more aggressive, talks without a mute button, and has me doing dishes, the wash and folding towels. Is there any way I can reboot her?

How long had your computer been on??? When computers run continuously, the resources it uses go down regardless of how the computer is being used and sometimes it will compromise parts of the system to keep it running and Sound can be considered a Minor subsystem, so therefore it will sacrifice sound for the sake of the computer...

That is why it is recommended that you reboot every 2-3 hours of use in order to give the computer the chance to reorganize itself...
