I'm not sure you can say putting links to other sites in your sig by itself is spam, but it's weird that his replies are irrelevant to what he's replying to and to what he's advertising. I've never seen a spammer say something else that doesn't have to do with promoting their link.

I have. And I say it is spam. Disguised, but none the less what it is.

I personally am worried how it will affect NASA if the government shuts down.

I hope it doesn't wreak the launch schedule.
