No no, i'm not referring to the video library, he'll still keep his part time job there at the counter. But for now he seems adament that he is done with big budget films with mainstream studios. His reasoning is somewhat understandable but at the same time for a film maker of his ilk, the difficulties he is complaining of really shouldn't be unexpected from an industry like the one he himself has helped to pioneer.
Whether he actually retires...i'm skeptical. It's true when they say you can never really go home again. Basically, it would be the equivalent of U2 or The Rolling Stones giving up on main stream album releases and world tours in favour of just going back to their local pub circuit. Time will tell though.
