I've been following it and things are getting so confusing. First there was our universe. Then there was the other universe. Now we have alternate universes for both sides that evolved without Peter. Now that means there are 4 realities we have to keep track of! It's getting crazy.

True true, it has been a bit crazy but that's one of the things that I love so much about this show is cause they have the guts to do something that deep where you have to really concentrate to follow whats going on. They almost didn't get a fourth season so they had to come at the show from a different angle so that people wouldn't be so confused like before; they had to do one episode in our universe and then next week it would be an episode on the other side which for the general population or someone new to the series it would be a bit more difficult to comprehend. The way they came at it in the fourth season separates that need to do an episode on this side and the next on the other side cause now that they are connected they don't have that need anymore. So ya, you do have to know about both sides but now they aren't separated like before. All you have to remember from the other time-line is that anything Peter influenced would be different and since he has to explain that to the people from this new time-line anyways, the new viewer gets to hear it all again thus making it easier for people to get into the show or to just follow it better than before.
The show is very good sci-fi and entertaining. I just feel like I need to have the wiki in front of me to keep tabs on things after a while.
In one universe Olivia's mom is dead and her sister is alive. In another universe her mom is alive and her sister is dead.
One universe Peter's mom kills herself and in the other she does not. One universe Walter is Secretary of Defense and in another he owns controlling interest in Massive Dynamic.
They'll have to write a manual on how to keep things straight after the series is over.
