Deus Ex on GOG...

Unfortunately I've never played it, but I've seen many posts about this game and some of you seem to rave about it... Well the Game of the Year Edition is now on GOG for 9.99 along with Hitman, according to their latest email...

Deus Ex is of the greatest games of all time. I still have a boxed copy which to this day comes out of retirement for a few rounds. No matter what generation of graphics you're hooked into, you can't beat good gameplay. But I might have to check out Hitman. I loved Blood Money.
It definitely goes on lost of greatest games of all time lists as number 1.

You should check out the hidef pack and new model mods that have been made for it.

I think Cyberpunk was one of the people that worked on it.

I could be wrong though.

As much as I love DE1, i'd be open to a remake because it simply deserves to be revisited. Always have the original game there but have a few re-interpretations to accompany it too. There's plenty of fans out there that could handle it tastefully.
I worked on Deus Ex New Vision (very briefly but I'm credited for it) and Deus Ex HDTP. New Vision just had a major released, the animated Textures are amazing. Highly recommended.
I'll have to check that out, i've heard about it but just never had time to give it a run. Same story with the Half Life Goldeneye mod too.
I tried getting new vision and hdtp to run on my friends win7 pc and was not having much luck.

Installed new vision first and it seemed to work.
Put the updated launcher and then tried to install hdtp and whenever i go to click to start a new game, the screen goes black and then crashes to the desktop.

Turn off hdtp, and it works again.

Too bad i can't remember the error.... it seemed like a general one like the xp illegal operation error.
