They've gone about it the right way with this one, they offer you a discount on the initial product, plus they actually SHOW the product working and its entire development history. They also showcase the features of it.

That's how you do a pitch IMO.

I also love that they offer bulk discounts. This is something I highly recommend doing, if someone wants to buy in bulk because they're a group of friends that want to pool their money together, then hell yes they should be rewarded for it.

With that said... Most useless device ever I don't really see a point in having yet another device for the exact same thing that the iphone/android does. Its kinda silly.

So whilst the pitch is great.. the actual idea itself is pretty lousy Its funny because with video games its been the other way around lol.

The skeptic in me wants to argue that the pitch might've been faked hehe (as in, its just a display and that the device does nothing of what they say).

I remember this guy going on a show here in the states called "Shark Tank"... It's a show where 4 to 5 rich pricks sit and listen to the pitches from a hand full of inventors and they decide whether or not to invest in their product and help them get it off the ground...

This guy was practically laughed out of the room... Guess those sharks are feeling a bit of embarrassment now... I think the guy was only asking for like $250,000 when he went on the show, might have even been less... This thing has the potential of getting well over 10 Million with 28 days left to go... Crazy what people will throw money at...

Shark Tank sounds like the program we have here called Dragon's Den. Nice that the guy was able to get funding elsewhere. Perhaps the initial presence on TV boosted the notoriety of the resulting Kickstarter too.

We have Dragon's Den in Canada too =P
