Kickstarter Campaign Graphics (Avatars, Signatures & More)
Those banners are fabulous, Sai! I will add one as a Display Ad to my Google campaign. I got another $100 promotional code from Google in my (snail)mail yesterday. And I already applied the $100 code they emailed me a few days ago to my current text Ad for Tex. That's $200 bucks of free advertising from Google (plus my piddly initial $25 before they sent me these codes) Can't beat that!
Cathy

Thanks redcat, glad they'll be useful to you. Meant to do them earlier (because I also need them for myself to put on some webpages) but never got around to it.
Thats cool you got lots of free ad money from Google.
Hope it it does well!

Wow!
Awesome graphics you guys did there!
Here's my contribution, I hope you like the idea

It's just a concept and it's a little bit different, tried to do something "viral". I haven't done something like this before, so maybe it's not a very challenging puzzle
The idea is to put in clues to Tex Murphy and the Kickstarter Campaign, and making people curious... well I hope it works xD
Ah this is so exciting, a few hours to go!

Jen, the code that you use is different depending on where you want to put it. This board's code might be different that those of others.
So here, this:

Needs this code:
Is that what you meant or did I get it wrong?

Code may be slightly different but most forums use the same exact code so you should be fine. Any problems just ask.
I'd use the link to the Kickstarter instead of texmurphy.com now which is:

Interesting. I was just viewing the detailed Facebook ad stats for my first 2 ads that stopped on the 14th. Most of the clicks came from females. 1,616,504 impressions for both. 205 total clicks.
Over 78% of women clicked the Tex/Moon ad, and the rest were men.
The ad with Wanda was more popular than just Tex & the Moon with most clickers coming from Brazil, Hungary, France and Italy. Almost 60% of the clickers were woman and the rest were men.
I am really surprised most of the ad clicks were from women. Does this surprise anyone else?
(Note to AC: Make sure Chris starts hitting the gym some more... I kid, I kid...
)
I think I better change my "hey there handsome" text to "hey there beautiful"

I'm not one bit surprised, really. ♥redcat72 wrote: I am really surprised most of the ad clicks were from women. Does this surprise anyone else?

And you'd better be kidding-- At his height, a beefed-up CJ would be... Ardo.
I've updated the flyers and business cards to say just texmurphy.com as requested now that the Kickstarter is live and texmurphy.com takes you to the page. Also changed "Bringing" to "Bring" to make it sound more like a present tense call to action.

Alright, i'm gonna go to Kinko's tonight and print out a bunch of different stuff (flyers, smaller cards for people to take home with them, etc...) and hitting a few places around Austin. Here's one place that I think would be perfect to hand out flyers and what not: http://www.pinballzarcade.com/
It's a super fun place. And this being Austin, a.k.a. Nerd Mecca, there are many places where I'm sure I can root out some old Tex fans. I'll be driving around seeing what I can find over the weekend. Wish me luck.
EDIT: By the way, anyone know if it would be better for me to print out a copy of the flyer and other stuff here, or bring the files on a USB stick and let them take it from there?

I think putting PDF files on a USB would be best if you need it printed and if they accept USBs.
For colour or black and white photocopying then printing something off and taking it in could work too.
But I've never been to Kinkos so I reccomend checking their website, maybe they have a FAQ on there about it.
