Fabulous Ryan! Are you interested in doing the walk on role? If you want to do more, maybe contribute near the end?RyanPatton wrote:I'll be pledging $10,000 donation to "Project Fedora" soon and if I had the guts then I'll pledge $450,000 but I want every old and new fans to pledge donation to bringing back Tex Murphy to our PC&Mac. I almost said, "Things are definitely looking up," but I had an image of the pledges being inadvertently ripped down the middle.thedirector wrote:I just chipped in my pledge; I hope CJ and AC will keep the Kickstarter page updated with news and information as the month progresses. It's awesome to finally have Tex back!

Haven't posted on this board in years. Changed my e-mail and for the love of me I can't remember what my old username was, so I got a new account.
First of all, great to see Tex back in action!
Secondly, If you read the comments on the kickstarter I really find this bias against the DLC silly. I'm guessing it is a consequence of the Mass Effect 3 launch day DLC backslash? If it's implemented correctly I have absolutely no problem and even support it. Chris Jones and Aaron Conners will know how to use it correctly.

Every single dollar counts, and I'm sure is appreciated! And your name in the credits will be something cool to show your daughter when she's older.netroam wrote:Alright - now I've made my pledge - even though my wife is a poor student and we have a house and daughter to take care of I was able to put my name in the Special Thanks credits of the game. Looking forward to seeing that

We have a saying here that translated goes something like this:noptaka wrote:Haven't posted on this board in years. Changed my e-mail and for the love of me I can't remember what my old username was, so I got a new account.

A wise man knows how to get out of trouble that a smart man would not enter.
DLC is asking for trouble (it's the top discussed subject in the KS comments it seems), it would be better to have not mentioned it in the first place (especially not at this stage of development).
That said, I'm sure AC and CJ will find a way to sort this mess out since I do consider them quite wise
