"Tex Murphy - Project Fedora" is now live on Kickstarter.

Or are you going to do the Murder Mystery? (Which also sounds cool!)

I haven't thought of being in the Murder Mystery, really. But we'll see between now and then. As long as I get to meet Chris and Aaron personally, I'll be in my personal Heaven.

Hurray Gary! Good to know you and the other old guy are still lurking about!
After being in the air and in transit all day, what a wonderful sight to come home to! 25% and climbing!

Hell, the video alone is worth a pledge! It feels so damn good to see them back in action, if only for 6 minutes. Makes all the waiting and the hoping worthwhile all over again!

Remember when our teenage selves started petitions and pestered people all over Microsoft to get Tex back? When we asked what it would take for it to happen, I think it's CJ who once said we'd need ''You and 10 000 of your friends to promise to buy the game in advance''. What a strange little twist of fate!

Exciting times indeed. Now if you'll excuse me, I will go and watch this video again!

PS: Big hello to Matthew Buckstein! It's been too long, mang!

I just got a message back from AC and CJ that the game itself is actually slated for May 2013. December 2012 is just the date for the incentives, such as the documents and posters.
Yeah I was glad to see that. I want them to take as much time as they need with this to make it all it can be, no need to rush. I know from experience that I can wait for a new Tex game

I know what you mean... I would love the chance to meet them (I think only Chris "comes with" the 5k level - and who could ask for more  !) that's making me consider doubling my pledge.

They added a shot glass at the 150$ level in place of the DLC. Doesn't seem like such a great choice from my point of view, but I hope the others appreciate it.
I'm just wishing I had an extra ten grand lying around. Wait, you don't really need both kidneys do you...
why is it that tex fans want to sell their organs

Well, since you must ask, plumgas...

Much like the Brotherhood of Purity started within the Law and Order party, so too did the Cult of Pug start within the Unofficial Tex Murphy forum.

The ideal was that if one man, a visionary mutant, could sell his most valued organ to be placed inside a water cooler to scare off one private investigator, then... I just realized how much different and disturbing that scene would be.

But if he could sell his head to be placed inside a water cooler, then maybe he could stop living in the sewers, and possibly upgrade to one of the luxurious dumpsters behind Rook's Pawn Shop.

In accordance with the Scriptures of the other madman near the Golden Gate hotel, thus do we also strive to make sacrifices from our bodies for the betterment of the citizens of Chandler Avenue.

This has been a public service announcement, brought to you by the fine upstanding citizens of Balderdash, Malarkey and Hooey.

Cubase being a tease, whats new? (assuming you meant the bit about updates)
Still eagerly anticipating your video. :) Best of luck with the editing, I imagine it must be quite a project to handle seeing what you've revealed so far.

Haha, you're not wrong. I'm running an 8-node render farm just to churn out the visuals. Expect a lot of cameos too!

Man this kickstarter is flying on by! EPIC!

Everyone who buys the game will get the exact same version. We may do DLC later, after the game releases, but we'll decide that later. And, if we do it, it will be made available to everyone equally.
Thankyou Aaron for acting on this promptly and for taking our criticisms on board.
