"The Myst games were"...
...On Xbox too... but No, in regards to the Tex Murphy games.
There was talk about Tex being released on the Xbox around about the time the Xbox was due to be released... but it never happened.
I have come to the conclusion that if you ever want to get people palying adventure games again, it would be in their loungeroom.

Licencing/market demographic/portability/financial reasons probably.
By the way, the dual shock analog controllers didn't arrive for the PSX until around 1998 or so, which means around the time the game came out, the only official controller was digital only.
There was a Sony mouse available for the system, though. I remember seeing one used to play Broken Sword once.

Could've been that the lowest possible sales (the risk) was below the cost of overhauling the game to be compatible with PSX code, overhauling the control scheme to allow for a digital controller, and the licensing rights.
If I recall, there's also been sporadic talk that Tex might still appear on consoles in the future. God knows, you rotten convenience freaks, console games sell a lot more.
