The Davis Clipper has a Tex article! We fixed that! (?)

Y'know, I think it's really odd that the hometown newspaper where Big Finish lives, The Davis Clipper, has nothing to say at all on Tex Murphy, and very little about Chris Jones.
So just for the heck of it, why not get on their Facebook or Twitter and demand/ask that they cover Chris Jones' efforts as a local businessman and creative artist.
It wouldn't hurt, right? ( I'm just about running out of ideas, here, m'kay?

Hi Joliet_Jane, I've left a comment on their Facebook under your entry. Shamefaced I have to say I've been lurking on this forum since 2009 and just registered now! (That was when I first came across Tex through a friend of a friend and kept the interest since then.) It's been a really twitchy few weeks watching the figures rise slowly through the fifties was the worst...
Thanks Cathy, I found this site and Nilo's to be a great place when I was trying to get the Tex adventures to work. As soon as they were up on gog.com I was there and grabbed them in case the worst ever happened and I had to re-install everything. I've never actually got much beyond the early stages in any of them - to be honest I sometimes put them on just to hear the music play in the background while I'm doing other things.
I love the music too. Here is a link to most of all of the Tex tunes.

Hooray!

Either we annoyed them into doing it, or they did it on their own, but either way, woohoo!
EDIT:

Waiiit a minute:
Ummm... typo?Big Finish Games met its $400,000 project goal in a record-setting eight hours and went on to raise a total of $3.3 million for the game. The campaign gave Jones hope.

3.3 million is about the amount that Tim Schafer raised on Kickstarter. So I guess Big Finish robbed Double Fine?
