I can't believe that after all these years Tex is officially coming back. I wish I could say I had "kept the faith," but in all honesty, I had pretty much given up years ago. Of course, I never imagined anything like Kickstarter! I'm so glad I was wrong, and can't wait to be playing a new Tex adventure next year!
Now I have to give some serious consideration to finding a place to re-host my old Tex website (Alcatraz: A Tex Murphy Site). It's quite outdated, but I wouldn't mind putting it back up and modernizing it.

Now THAT is good news!! We will have a new Tex Murphy game after all those years. I still remember Aaron saying he'd write a novel for the story to finish but now we have something much better than that.
It will be great reading the updates from Big Finish till the day the Beta Testers have the game. I will be one of them

After a late night, I've just rolled out of bed and I'm still a little groggy and bleary-eyed, so I'm a bit at a loss for words right now. Even at another time, I think I still would be. How can I put into words what this community has accomplished?
Think about it – we've waited for 14 years for this, through every tantalizing glimmer of hope and every disappointing defeat. We've waited for a new Tex game for longer than it took to make the five that already exist!
It's a testament to the quality of work that Chris and Aaron and everyone at Access/Big Finish creates that their rabid fans have never truly disappeared. We've been here, patiently waiting, and even more of us have come out of the woodwork thanks to the Kickstarter campaign.
And now we all get to finally...FINALLY!!!...find out WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED TO TEX AND CHELSEE??!! IT'S BEEN 14 YEARS!!!

Like Jane, as well as happy relief, this is how I feel after being up so much promoting Tex to get to the goal!
