The Little Details

I am watching a friend play Overseer for the first time and I just noticed that the bishop piece Sonny gives Tex was sitting on a copy of Martian Memorandum. gas anyone else uncovered something new in any of the games?

In the intro of Pandora Directive, among the things the Black Arrow is throwing from a closet, there is a box of Under a Killing Moon

There is also a little picture of UAKM on the cover of a PC magazine in Autotech

Also, in TMO, when you enter Linsky's bedroom and look in the drawers as well as the roll-top desk in his attic you will see some familiar pieces of games.

What is really cool is when you click on the picture in Knott's cabin and Tex says: "Under a killing moon - now that would be a great name for something."

Finally, in Gideon's game room is an old style juke-box style game called - Mean Streets.
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
(spoiler space)

The Mean Streets poster in Sonny's room is really prominent, so much so that it makes things weird for me. I mean it's clearly clearly in Tex's line of vision at one point.

"What do you know about Linsky's d-- Hey... what's that poster of?"
"Oh, it's nothing."
"That guy... looks just like me."
"No, not quite."
"That's me! It is! "
"How do you know?"
"I know it is! That's me! How is that possible?"
"OK, OK... What you know, you can't explain. But you feel it. You felt it your entire life. That there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there. Like a splinter in your mind - driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about? " 8)

The smirk on his face certainly suggests he's about to make such a revelation.

Either that, or he just released a silent fart.

These details sound to me like obscure text.

You reminded me of this scene:

P.S. Adam and Joe are a little known British comedy double from the 90s. I reccomend checking out their toy parodies of other shows/films and their skits on youtube.

Love the dialog Joilet!

Just how these threads deteriorate so quickly is a true mystery. What started so wonderful ends up stinking...er...sorry, bad pun.
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
I plead guilty on the charges of thread derailment. Apologies all around.

You gotta admit, though...that particular shot...

Ok ok!

My favorite little detail must be from Overseer. Clap if you have seen this:

Saline solution. There's some Marx Brothers animal crackers and Monkey Chow in Val Davis's lab with crazy ingredients. Unfortunately its in cabinet space you can't open.

I live for thread deterioration. It's in these moments I shine ;-)
