SKYFALL - New 007 film (Full Trailer)
What I really love is they're bringing in some classic Bond elements but keeping them completely modern. That is, the gadgets, at least the one or two presented in the trailer, are believable and real world, kind of like Batman's utilities in the Nolan films.
From what I can tell, they're doing their very best not to repeat the mistakes that drove previous incarnations of Bond into parody while keeping it faithful to the formula that we expect of a 007 film. Heck, I don't even mind if they install gun turrets somewhere into the bonnet of the Aston Martin. But very impressed so far with what they've shown us.

Funny. The very first thing I thought while watching the trailer was "this finally really does feel like a James Bond movie"What I really love is they're bringing in some classic Bond elements
While I quite enjoyed Casino Royal, and less so Quantum, they both felt a lot more like modern spy action thrillers, and too little like a Bond flick. If this trailer is anything like the finished movie, it seems that everyone is a lot more comfortable with the idea of making a James Bond movie, starting with the slightly over-the-top villain, which reminds me somehow of Walken in A View to a Kill.
Really looking forward to this!
