Your most hated main enemy in Tex games?

1)Gideon - Mean Streets.
2)Thomas Dangerfield - Martian Memorandum.
3)Lowell Percival - Under a Killing Moon.
4)Jackson Cross - The Pandora Directive.
5)John Klaus - Tex Murphy:Overseer.

My choice is Cross.

Your choice?
Truly yours,

DALTON is my most hated enemy in all the games!!!!!!!!!

BOO!!!!

He shot my peeps! :|

Big Jim Slade is my 2nd.
Agreed.
But Dalton and Big Jim Slade are not main enemies.

Alexander.

Says who? Might as well put Frank Schimming in there.
Well, Jennifer, it's up to you to decide who is an enemy or who is not.

Big Jim Slade was badass. He was like an Australian cross between James Bond and Walker Texas Ranger. If I had to pick from the list written up by Alexander, i'd have to say John Klaus. A nasty backstabber with even uglier proclivity to chew scenery!
Sure Cross was scary but he'd have to use a gun to kill you.

Big Jim could kill you just by looking at you he was so tough.

Samantha, Slade was not main enemy. He was John Klaus's henchman.

When your henchman kills you, I think you have to admit you're a pretty lame enemy.

I was never really afraid of Klaus. Maybe it's because you don't see that much of him. He worked behind the scenes and only appeared long enough to get killed.

It was the same feeling I had watching Star Trek Nemesis. Even though that guy was supposed to be the main villain, I was never really scared of him. He only had 1 freaking ship. The federation could have sent a fleet of ships to get him.

If the villain doesn't strike fear into your heart I have no respect for him.

Maybe you right, Samantha.

IMO I think Klaus could have had more scenes such as a BSAA.
My vote goes to Jackson Cross. Sure, he is an asshole but in a humorous kind of way.
Jackson Cross was our guy's most scary villain; it was his insanity that made him such, and Barry Corbin did a perfect Cross.
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
Jackson Cross may have been the scariest, but my most hated villain so far is John Klaus. There's just something about the impoliteness of betraying one's friends that pisses me off something royally.

Of course, my most beloved enemy is J. Saint Gideon. And I don't need to justify why to anybody here, you all know the character just as well as me. (Not that you necessarily share my view, but you can probably understand how I came to the conclusion)

Also, always great to see you posting, Jim!

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Cross no doubt. The guy is like the Hans Gruber of the Tex Murphy games.
