BETA! Rolling out.
I may be wrong, but if it's like the beta (pre release) for Broken Age, we will be told not to post videos or screenshots of it... This is just what I'm assuming, I may be wrong.Frogacuda wrote:Exciting! All you lucky beta kids be sure to take lots of video and right lots of impressions for the rest of us! It's hard to believe some of you will actually be playing a new Tex Murphy game after all these years.

That was more because Broken Age contained a major plot-twist that they didn't want getting out. They also reversed that decision a day later.Chris Marsland wrote:I may be wrong, but if it's like the beta (pre release) for Broken Age, we will be told not to post videos or screenshots of it... Other projects like Leisure Suit Larry and SpaceVenture were totally open from the start and had no problem with posting videos. Obviously, we should respect any requests by Big Finish if they don't want it shown, but otherwise, let's see it!
Beta means the build is complete but they haven't gone through and taken out any bugs that exist. Leisure Suit Larry had some terrible reviews though so hopefully that curse will not apply here (I can't see how it will given what we've seen so far).
I do qualify for Beta but I'm still torn between playing it now or waiting until a bug-free version is released. The number of bugs in the game is likely to be quite low - they will probably have taken out most of the biggies, but it will be the small ones that can be hard to find.
