16 Long Years... Finally Got New Tex!

I first played Mean Streets in the Commodore 64 mode of a Commodore 128 way back in the day. I was a teenager trying to crack the case with Tex in the back corner of my parents' living room. And that's where it began...

Through the years I got a kick out of Cuffing Up Flem in Under A Killing Moon, tracking down the Black Arrow Killer in the Pandora Directive, and my young children (at the time) calling Overseer "the blinky light game." It seems like a million years since we last saw Tex and Chelsee step out of the Golden Pagoda... and now my favorite game-based detective is back!

And I got my key! :)

My visits to this board have been sporadic over the years, but I hope everyone from the old crew is doing well! As I thoroughly enjoy the latest and greatest Tex adventure I'll be sure to stop in a bit more often.

Chris and Aaron, I know you check occasionally... thank you again for such an entertaining detective character that many of us can relate to. You guys -- and Tex -- have had a great hand in inspiring my writing over the years. Keep up the fantastic work!

Wait wait...you're focusing on the fact that you have a new Tex game after 16 years instead of crying that there won't be any GOG codes? FOOL! OFF WITH HIS HEAD!
I still have a signed flyer from when I entered a contest on this board years ago... and the signatures on my signed flyer is almost gone! I know they shouldn't have used a dry marker...
Happy Tex Day everyone. Our old friend is finally back from the void. Dreams do come true.

Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.
When I was just around 10 years old I found Under a Killing Moon in a bargain bin of a small video game corner store (just a rented square in an indoor market building that no longer exists). Now I'm turning 30 next year... man it feels strange to even say that *sigh* But at least Tex is back to his old tricks to give me back some of my childhood fun :D

Hi, new here, but I wanted to say Seriously YAY. It took me 5 hours to download it and now its after midnight but so impressed with the FMV, and delighted to be back in Texs' shoes. Happy to know there are still old style adventure gamers out there. Just smiling :D
This is just awesomesauce :D We have Tex again!
It's complete heaven. On a screen.
