16 Long Years... Finally Got New Tex!
I first played Mean Streets in the Commodore 64 mode of a Commodore 128 way back in the day. I was a teenager trying to crack the case with Tex in the back corner of my parents' living room. And that's where it began...
Through the years I got a kick out of Cuffing Up Flem in Under A Killing Moon, tracking down the Black Arrow Killer in the Pandora Directive, and my young children (at the time) calling Overseer "the blinky light game." It seems like a million years since we last saw Tex and Chelsee step out of the Golden Pagoda... and now my favorite game-based detective is back!
And I got my key!
My visits to this board have been sporadic over the years, but I hope everyone from the old crew is doing well! As I thoroughly enjoy the latest and greatest Tex adventure I'll be sure to stop in a bit more often.
Chris and Aaron, I know you check occasionally... thank you again for such an entertaining detective character that many of us can relate to. You guys -- and Tex -- have had a great hand in inspiring my writing over the years. Keep up the fantastic work!

When I was just around 10 years old I found Under a Killing Moon in a bargain bin of a small video game corner store (just a rented square in an indoor market building that no longer exists). Now I'm turning 30 next year... man it feels strange to even say that *sigh* But at least Tex is back to his old tricks to give me back some of my childhood fun
(Ruri_Ayanami from the old Tex Murphy ezboard).
