Help a longtime lurker, and help Tex in the process!
Hey folks! Some of you may recognize me, I've been a lurker on here for almost 10 years. I am a huge fan of Tex, in fact my first film (I'm a USC-grad filmmaker) was a Tex homage called "Jack O'Neill - Private Detective." I've made a few posts here and there over the years, and I'm FB friends with a few folks that I've met on here, like Jen and James.
Anyway, I recently started a new website called FlitterWeb, and I'm hoping some of you will check it out! I'm generally not a fan of plugging a project unrelated to the forum I'm posting in, but this actually CAN be relevant to Tex Murphy! FlitterWeb is a website that allows users to review and share other websites. Think of it like Yelp for the Internet: looking for a dress store online, or a community to help you with your novel? Just head to FlitterWeb and read some reviews to find the right one. You might even be able to find, say, a message board dedicated to a long-lived classic video game series...
Which brings me to the point: I've added both Big Finish Games and The Unofficial Tex Murphy Web Site to FlitterWeb, and I'm hoping to get some reviews! The pages can be found here:
Big Finish Games - http://www.flitterweb.com/site/69
The Unofficial Tex Murphy Web Site - http://www.flitterweb.com/site/70
Any help you can offer, be it writing reviews or sharing the link, would be greatly appreciated! I'm really hoping to get some activity going soon, and as a Tex fan, especially in the wake of the release of Tesla Effect, I'd love for our favorite P.I. to have a strong standing in the early days of the new site.
That, and I promised myself I wouldn't play Tesla Effect until I'd gotten FlitterWeb off the ground...
